Increasing fame with the Karavan

The quickest way to get Karavan fame is to do bandit missions. Of course, you will get additional fame by doing the other missions, such as get kipee parts and gingo blood, though if you’d like to get the most fame-per-mission, bandits are the way to go. If you are just starting out with your character, it is recommended that you stick with the missions in the capital cities (including Dew Drops) as these are in level 50 zones and should be easier to complete. — Riverrtide, Hechicera

Jungle

Zora (50 zone)

Karavan fame around Zora

Tribes involved

Icon Worshippers (wandering tribe) and Birds of Omen.

If you can’t find the Icon Worshippers wandering around, they have a camp directly across the Mektoub Waterhole from where the Birds of Omen are.

Other fighting missions

From the Cities of Intuition Karavan Welcomer:

  • Kitin raw materials – 3 morsel of Average Jungle Kipee Flesh q30
  • Order for blood – 1 phial Jungle Ragus blood q 45 and 1 phial Mektoub blood q 25

Fastest way to knock all of these out is to head east from the Kara TP towards the middle of the three “steps” along the north border between Haven of Purity and Cities of Intuition. Along the way find a Roaming Mektoub (lvl 34) for the blood mission. Then once you get to the middle step, you will find kipees and raguses needed for the fighting missions. Run back to Kara TP, and then head over towards the Birds of Omen. You will likely find the Icon Worshippers along the way. If you set your compass to 125m, you will see gray dots as you travel, look closely at them, and the dot for the Icon Worshippers will periodically show as a gray dot with a gray trail.

Another great bonus is to run North from the Kara TP up to the South Entrance to Zora. Just outside the gates, you will see Wu Zhong (dressed in blue). You can increase your Zorai fame if you do the missions he has. Take the following missions:

  • Wipe out carnivores – 2 ragus and 2 javing (any lvl).
  • Birds of Omen

You can then run over to the Kipees and Raguses, kill until you get morsels and blood for Kara Welcomer and just make sure you kill 2 raguses while you are there for Wu Zhong. Head back to Kara TP to turn items in, then head to Birds of Omen and Icon Worshippers. Then run to the south side of the Qai-Du Workshop. There you will find a path that takes you to Javings for Wu-Zhong.

Maiden Grove (100 zone)

Karavan fame in Maiden Grove

Tribes involved

Lake Loafers and Shadow Bandits.

Additional Missions:

  • Wipe out the Kitins – Kill 5 Kipee (any lvl)
  • Recon for Karavan – go to Great Boulder Workshop
  • Kitin Morsels – 3 morsesls Kizoar Flesh q50, 3 morsels Kipee Flesh q65
  • Blood – 3 phials Prime Jungle Bawaab Blood q85 (timed mission)

Just north-west from the TP there are a few kipee and kizoar for missions, but there are also some around the Shadow Bandit camp, so don’t worry about waiting for respawn. Then head North to Great Boulder Workshop, once you see the message that you’ve entered the workshop, hang out there for another second or two and you’ll complete the mission. Then head West towards Shadow bandits, caution: there are many ragus/gingo/torbaks along the way. Also Spinah (named torbak) hangs out in the area. If you need more Kipee/Kizoars, there will be many right around the Shadow Bandit camp. Kill the bandits, then head south-west towards the Lake Loafer camp. On the way, you will see several bawaabs…for the blood mission, you will need either Grunting or Gluttonous Bawaabs for correct ql. Best way to get these guys is to stand back and taunt/pull one, because they are social. This mission is timed, but you will have plenty of time to do all of the missions then turn in the items. Then finish off the Lake Loafers and head back to Kara TP to turn in items. If you run, use caution due to ragus/gingo/torbak herds in the area.

Lakelands

Fairhaven (50 zone)

Karavan fame in Fairhaven

Tribes involved

Fiends of Fury and Liberty Pirates.

Other missions

From the Kara Welcomer:

  • Get rid of Kitins – kill 2 Kipees
  • Recon – Go to Greenvale Trade Post
  • Kitin raw materials – 3 morsels Kipee flesh q20
  • Order for blood – 4 phials Yubo blood q2

Talk to Be’Eli Delone (dressed in blue) near the Tryker Lodge Master to add some Tryker fame missions:

  • Friends of Fury bandits
  • Eliminate carnivores – kill 5 Cloppers (any lvl)

Dew Drops (50 zone)

Use kami tp, and swim/run over to kara tp/welcomer

Tribes involved

Crystabel Skinners and Liberty Pirates.

Other missions from Dew Drops Kara Welcomer:

  • Order for blood – 5 phials Kipee blood q55
  • Kitin morsels – kill 5 Kizoar and 5 Kipee (any lvl)
  • Get rid of Kitins – 1 morsel Kizoar flesh q90

The best order to do these missions is first to head to Dew Drops, and get the missions from the Kara Welcomer. Kill the Kipees and Kizoars near the TP to acquire the necessary items and number of kills, then turn the items in to the Welcomer. Then TP to Fairhaven, and get the missions from the Kara Welcomer there as well as the Tryker fame missions. Head towards the Crystabell Skinners, killing Yubos and Kipees along the way for the mission items. Kill the Crystabel Skinner bandits, and then jump back in the water so the other bandits leave combat. Swim over to the Friends of Fury camp, and complete the bandit mission there. Immediately across the water to the west of the FoF camp is Greenvale Trade Post, run into the Trade Post, wait a few seconds until the mission is complete, then head over to the Liberty Pirates camp. Kill the required number of Liberty Pirates and Cloppers if you need to, and get back in the water, there is a small island nearby that is safe to TP back to Fairhaven from. You can always swim back to FH, it is safe but slow. Then turn in your items to the Welcomer there.

Resting Water (50 zone)

Need to have declared Karavanhood

Crystabel Skinners and Liberty Pirates (same as in Fairhaven and Dew Drops).

Desert

Pyr (50 zone)

Karavan fame around Pyr

Tribes involved

Leviers (wandering tribe) and Dune Stalkers.

Other missions

From Imperial Dunes Karavan Welcomer

  • Hunt down the Kitins – Kill 1 Kipee (any lvl)
  • Kitin raw materials – 3 morsels Kipee flesh q20
  • Order for Blood – 5 phial Kipee blood q10 (timed mission)

Also, if you run from the Kara TP up to the Pyr main entrance, talk to Julius Baptistus (dressed in blue) for some Fyros fame missions:

  • Eliminate the carnivores – kill 1 Goari and 1 Gingo (any lvl)
  • Eye of the Dragon bandits

Order to do all of the missions: from the Kara TP, head north towards Pyr, on/near the road directly north from the Kara TP, you will find the first herd of Kipees, kill all that you need, and watch your compass for the Leviers, just like the Icon Worshippers gray dot, the Leviers gray dot will occasionally show a gray trail, briefly. Then run up to Pyr, and get the missions from Julius Baptistus. The Dune Stalkers camp is just south-east of the Pyr main entrance. Take care of the Dune Stalkers, and if you need any more Kipees for the flesh/blood missions, there is another herd of Kipees just south of the Dune Stalker camp. There are also goaris and gingos nearby for the fyros fame mission.

Oflovack’s Oasis (100 zone)

Tribes involved

Dragon Breath and Dragonfire Angels.

Other missions

  • Wipe out the Kitins – kill 4 kizoar and 4 kipee (any lvl)
  • Kitin raw materials – 4 morsels Kipee flesh q 60
  • Order for blood – 1 phial Rendor blood q84 and 1 phial Kipee blood q75 (timed)

For the order for blood mission, you will need to find a Grunting Rendor, all others will be too low. Just outside of the Kara TP, there are many Kipees and Kizoars for the mission, though you can find easier ones on the run from the TP to the Dragon Breath camp. Kill 2 Dragon Breath and jump in the water, the other bandits will leave combat. Then you can run back to the TP and turn items in before you head to the Dragonfire Angels camp to the south. Watch for cloppers and goari on this run.

Forest

Yrkanis (50 zone)

Karavan fame in the Forest

Tribes involved

Border Blights and Davae’s Clutch.

Other Missions

From the Karavan welcomer:

  • Hunt down Kitins – Kill 4 Kipee (any ql) also timed, but plenty of time to complete (you will find kipees near the Green Seeds and Gingos are very common throughout Majestic Garden)
  • Kitin raw materials – 5 morsels Kipee Flesh q18
  • Collect some blood – 3 phials Gingo blood q35

Also, at the entrance to Yrkanis, talk to Cirgio Alteri (dressed in blue) for some Matis fame missions. Take these missions from him to raise your Matis fame:

  • Hunt down carnivores – kill 5 ragus and 5 gingo (any lvl)
  • Turn of the Tide bandits

Yrkanis — Green Seed Camp

Talk to the Green Seed Karavan Ambassador – need to have 0 or positive kara fame

Tribes involved

Wrath of Natae and Turn of the Tide.

Other missions

From Karavan Welcomer:

  • Eliminate Kitins – kill 1 Kipee (any lvl)
  • Collect some meat – 3 capryni meat q35
  • Gather blood – 5 phial Kipee blood q13

From Pinne Cildo (Tribe Welcomer):

  • Hunt down carnivores – Kill 2 Gingo (any lvl)
  • Order for meat – 3 Bodoc Meat of q4, 2 Capryni meat of q30 and 1 Ragus meat q45
  • Collect some fur – 5 tuft Yubo Hair q12
  • Wrath of Natae bandits

Even though this is a lot of missions to take at once, nearly all of them overlap, so you can gain a lot of fame in Majestic Garden in one trip. The only place to get Ragus meat for the order for meat mission from Pinne Cildo is at the Baying Raguses near the Border Blight Bandits. If you leave from the Green Seed camp, there are several Kipees on/near the road in front of their camp. Start there and then work your way towards Wrath of Natae bandits, then Turn of the Tide bandits and finally the Border Blights, you will find all necessary animals on your way.
